Mini Concentration 1

For my first mini concentration, I decided that I wanted to have the two sides of people.  Many times we get to see one side of a person, their fake side.  Usually we only see who they are on the outside, and fail to recognize who they are on the inside; we put on a fake mask to really fit in with other people, and conform in what everyone thinks is "cool". Despite putting on that mask, we still have a side that people do not know about, whether it is an addiction, interest or hobby.  In my portraits, I did a double exposure of people who have elements about them that other people would not know about.  Things such as interests, hobbies and addictions are all represented within these three pictures.  In this, I took their face, and had half of the face what they look like to me and you, and on the other half show who they really are on the inside.

  1. I really like the idea and the photos! The photo of Eli is my favorite and is the most interesting and is edited better than the others. I think your description was good but sort of lengthy and didn’t get to the point. I feel like a tree isn’t who Eli is on the inside, ya know? Maybe shorten the description and be focus more on hobbies/interests rather than “hidden personality.” Overall good job though!

  2. your description is amaze !! i like ur idea and i think it transfers well to photo. i think vicki's picture turned out the best because there is a strong sense of personality and there is a nice aesthetic in the photo. mckenzie's pic is super awk looking and i think some of the lines were too stark. better blending would have helped the pics i think.

my favorite picture was probably the first one and the least favorite the last one because it is a little un clear on what it is.

  6. the description is good and matches the photos. I like the photos but I I don’t know what is in two of the photos. My favorite one is the IPod one and my least favorite one is the last one. You could improve it by making the photos more clear. good job!

  7. The photos match the description. I really like how the pictures turned out! My favorite is the third one because the abstract design is really cool and I like how it doesn’t cut off in a straight vertical line down her face. My least favorite is the third one because I think it would have looked better if the camo feathered out instead of being a solid line. Good job!

  8. Yes the photos match the description. I really like your idea and the creativity. My favorite photo is of Vicky because you can clearly see her hobby. My leave favorite photo is of McKenzie because there is a glare on her face and the phone is unclear. But overall great job!
